The objective of the invention is to provide a data processing system that can flexibly change an encryption key, while consistently retaining a data security in the course of distributed processing. The data processing system of the invention comprises a key management database for managing the correspondence between the input/output data of an application program and an encryption key. Each of a plurality of distributed worker computers uses the encryption key, which is held by the key management database, to encrypt or decrypt the input/output data of the application program (See FIG. 1). |
