PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a valve opening/closing timing control device capable of appropriately setting valve opening/closing timing in a short time since starting an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A valve opening/closing timing control device comprises: an advancement chamber and a retard position chamber for a relative phase control provided between a driving rotating body 10 and a driven rotating body 20, the driving rotating body 10 synchronously rotating with a drive shaft 1 of an internal combustion engine E, and the driven rotating body 20 integrally rotating with a cam shaft 6 for valve opening/closing; and a lock mechanism L that locks relative rotation phases to locked phases. At a time of starting the internal combustion engine E, a control unit 50 starts a fluid filling control to fill a fluid in the advancement chamber and the retard position chamber, and exerts an unlocking control to cancel a locking state of the lock mechanism L prior to the completion of the filling of the fluid under the fluid filling control. |
