发明名称 Dispositifs à masses mobiles destinés à combattre les oscillations de vitesses, les vibrations et les à-coups
摘要
401,962. Vibration-dampers. SALOMON, F. M. M. B., 3, Rue de l'Universite, Paris. April 6, 1933, No. 10333. Convention date, April 7, 1932. [Class 108 (iii).] The elimination of superimposed vibrations or oscillations in any system but particularly in continuously rotating shafts is accomplished by means of auxiliary masses which are preferably free and which absorb the vibrations &c. by the change in their radial and tangential inertia forces. Fig. 1 shows part of a fly-wheel 3 keyed to a shaft 1 the speed oscillations and the flexure vibrations of which are to be absorbed and as shown the devices are arranged at different points and are each adapted to absorb vibrations of its own frequency or combination of frequencies. The auxiliary masses may be either balls or rollers. Figs. 1 and 4 show a recess in the flywheel comprising a core 6 and a race 7 in which a roller 8, 10 is free to roll, the roller being hollow and containing a ball 9 also free to roll. Constant speed of the shaft 1 causes the roller and ball to assume a position of equilibrium which is disturbed by a change of speed due to a superimposed vibration so that the movement of the roller and ball absorbs the speed variation if of its own frequency or frequencies. Fig. 4 also shows an auxiliary mass comprising liquid 68 free to move in the recess between a core 67 and an outer ring 66. In the device shown in Fig. 1 comprising a ball 16 free to move in a double curvature race, flexure of the shaft as well as a torque disturbance are absorbed as indicated in Fig. 1a and such devices may be arranged at intervals along a shaft. A device for absorbing disturbances of another frequency comprises a series of balls 39 spaced by a cage 53 and arranged to move freely in a race 37, 38, Figs. 1 and 2. Fig. 2 shows also an epicycloidal race 45, 48 and ball 46. Fig. 7 shows devices for absorbing disturbances which are at an angle to the shaft and comprise a tube 103 with a series of recesses having balls or rollers of different mass and different radii of gyration to absorb different frequency disturbances. Fig. 8 shows an arrangement of cranks 124, 126, 128 in which the absorption devices may be arranged on the flywheels or discs 125, 129. Various other arrangements of races, such as spiral, and auxiliary masses are described in the Specification.
