<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device which can switch a transmission state of power by a compact structure. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission device includes: a planetary gear mechanism 50 which includes an input rotary element 50c and an output rotary element 50r being differentially rotatable around an axis C1 of rotation, and is capable of outputting power input to the input rotary element 50c from the output rotary element 50r; an output rotating member 23 which is formed in a cylindrical shape, inside which the output rotary element 50r is inserted, and which is capable of rotating around the axis C1 of rotation relative to the output rotary element 50r, and capable of outputting the transmitted power to a drive wheel side of a vehicle; and an engaging movement member 81 which is formed in a cylindrical shape, inside which the output rotary element 50r is inserted, and which is capable of switching between an engagement state where the output rotary element 50r and the output rotating member 23 are engaged with each other so that the power can be transmitted and a release state where the engagement is released, by moving along the axis C1 of rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
