<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament nonwoven fabric with excellent flexibility, abrasion resistance, shape retention capability and heat sealability, suitable for use in base cloth of a disposable pocket heater. <P>SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric is made of filament containing 95 wt.% or more of polybutylene terephthalate with a birefringence of 0.100 to 0.125. In the filament nonwoven fabric, the stress per basis weight in a longitudinal direction when stretched by 5% is 0.5 to 1.1 N/50 mm(g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>) under 22°C atmosphere and 0.10 to 0.40 N/50 mm(g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>) under 120°C dry heat atmosphere, the breaking strength per basis weight in the longitudinal direction under 22°C atmosphere is 1.1 to 3.0 N/50 mm(g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>), and the filament nonwoven fabric is not subjected to entanglement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
