<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an x-ray tube capable of being cooled sufficiently, and a method of manufacturing the x-ray tube. <P>SOLUTION: An X-ray tube 1 includes a cylindrical housing 4, a filament 5 disposed at one end in the housing 4, an anode member 6 disposed at the other end in the housing 4, a target 7 formed on the anode member 6, and a heat absorption member 3 disposed at the other end in the housing 4. A side wall part 13 is provided with an X-ray emission window W. The filament 5 emits electrons, and the anode member 6 attracts the electrons. The target 7 is formed so that X-rays generated by collision of the electrons travel to the X-ray emission window W. A bolt 21 is screwed in the anode member 6 and the heat absorption member 3. Fastening the bolt 21 connects the anode member 6 with the heat absorption member 3. This allows efficient heat transmission from the anode member 6 to the heat absorption member 3, thereby sufficiently cooling the anode member 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
