Disclosed is an apparatus for repelling birds and animals, which emits laser to correspond to a signal sensed by a light sensor and can maintain an operation state thereof for a long time to repel approaching birds or animals. The apparatus for repelling birds and animals comprises: a light sensor which senses movement of an object; a controller which analyzes a signal, sensed by the light sensor, and determines whether the moving object approaches a support; a laser emitting device which emits laser to the moving object according to a laser emission control signal, generated by the controller, if the moving object is determined to approach to the support as a result of determination; and a power unit which supplies operation power to components. The laser emitting device can be paired with the light sensor and can be rotated to change the direction. Moreover, the laser emitting device can emit laser of which an emission distance is adjusted based on the distance of the approaching object. |
