PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of being stably operated without excessively increasing the temperature of a combustor even when removing adhering carbon.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 comprises: a fuel cell 11; a reformer 12 which generates a reformed gas G2 supplied to the fuel cell 11 by reacting fuel G1 with water W on a catalyst; a reformed gas supply line L3 through which the reformed gas G2 formed by the reformer 12 flows to the fuel cell 11; a combustor 13 which burns an offgas G3 discharged from the fuel cell 11; a first exhaust line L5 through which the offgas G3 flows to the combustor 13; a second exhaust line L6 which discharges a flue gas G4 discharged from the combustor 13; and a bypass line L7 through which the reformed gas G2 formed by the reformer 12 or the offgas G3 is discharged without flowing through the combustor 13. |
