<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, in which low rolling resistance performance, wet performance, and reinforcing performance of silica are improved to higher levels compared to the prior arts.SOLUTION: The rubber composition is prepared by compounding, in 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber, 5 to 100 parts by weight of silica (A), 0 to 150 parts by weight of silica (B), and a silane coupling agent by 4 to 30 wt.% with respect to the total of silica (A) and silica (B). The number of hydroxy groups on a surface of silica (A) is less than 5 /nm; and the number of hydroxy groups on a surface of silica (B) is 5 /nmor more.</p> |
