The present invention relates to an ultrasonic device converting an ultrasonic signal into an image, and a control method thereof. An embodiment of the ultrasonic device includes: a transducer for irradiating a plurality of ultrasonic waves having different traveling directions to an object, and collecting a plurality of echo ultrasonic waves reflected from the object; and a control unit for acquiring a plurality of speeds of blood flow of the object based on the echo ultrasonic wave, and for compounding the acquired speeds of blood flow to acquire a synthetic speed of blood flow of the object.
