The present invention relates to an air duct having a drip tray, and more specifically, to an air duct comprising: at least one air duct main body installed on a hood covering an engine compartment of a vehicle; and a drip tray installed on a lower side of the air duct′s main body. The drip tray includes an exterior wall formed to correspond to the shape of the air duct′s main body to collect rainwater. At least two coupling parts coupled to a lower surface of the hood are formed on the exterior wall. The drip tray has a drain hole formed on one side corner of the bottom surface to treat the collected rainwater and has the bottom surface slanted towards the drain hole. A permanent magnet is adhered or riveted to the coupling parts. At least one air duct is installed on the hood of the vehicle, and the drip tray is installed on the lower part of an air discharge opening of the air duct′s main body, which discharges air from an overheated engine compartment, using the permanent magnet, thereby preventing damage to the overheated engine due to rainwater or foreign substances such as sand, soil, dust, and the like, which directly flows into the engine compartment while the vehicle is driven or parked. |
