<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a resin particle dispersion liquid having a narrow particle size distribution.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a resin particle dispersion liquid comprising: a melting step of making an oily mixture containing at least a resin, a base, and a surfactant into a melted state while applying shearing force thereto; and an emulsification step of, while applying shearing force to the melted oily mixture, adding an aqueous medium thereto and emulsifying the same. In the melting step and emulsifying step, one emulsification device is used, and the motor power of the emulsification device applying shearing force to the oily mixture and the aqueous medium satisfies the following formula (1): 0.02≤(P- P)/F≤0.14(1); where the Pdenotes the motor average power (kW) in the melting step and emulsifying step; Pdenotes the empty power (kW) of the motor; and F denotes the average feeding amount (kg/h) of the resin to the emulsification device.</p> |
