<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can easily produce a porous carbon material, which enables particle synthesis in a short time and does not require special operations such as solvent substitution, lyophilization, and the like in a step of spinodal decomposition and perforation.SOLUTION: The porous carbon material is designed to be produced by a method comprising: a first step of obtaining a solution containing cured resin particles by reacting a phenol compound having two or more hydroxyl groups bound to the benzene ring and an aldehyde including at least formaldehyde in an aqueous medium using an organic acid catalyst comprising an alkylbenzenesulfonic acid, the alkyl group thereof having eight or more carbon atoms; a second step of forming aggregates of the cured resin particles by removing a liquid component from the solution containing such cured resin particles; and a third step of firing the aggregates of the cured resin particles.</p> |
