PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy utilization system and an energy utilization method which enables efficient use of renewable energy power.SOLUTION: An energy utilization system 1 includes: a power generation amount estimating unit 11 for estimating a generation amount of renewable energy power; and a power demand amount estimating unit 12 for estimating a demand amount of power at a point where a renewable energy power generation part 2 is installed. It is possible to estimate at what timing a surplus power is generated which is a difference between the generation amount by the renewable energy power and the power demand amount. Therefore, by having a hear generation control unit 15 control a heat generation part 3 based on the surplus power of the renewable energy power, the surplus power which has been conventionally reversely flows into a system power supply can be efficiently utilized as heat.
