<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal powder detector and a state monitoring system of a lubricating oil which can detect abnormal wear of machine components by sufficiently detecting metal powder mixed into the lubricating oil.SOLUTION: A metal powder detector for detecting metal powder in a lubricating oil includes: a pipe 10 which is included in a circulation flow path of the lubricating oil and which has light permeability; an optical sensor 20 for detecting the amount of light which has penetrated the inside of the pipe 10, among light entering through a side face of the pipe 10; and a magnet 30 provided in a manner to be adjacent to a path LP of the light detected by the optical sensor 20.</p> |
