Improvements in and relating to methods of producing a sulphuretted polymerizate of acrylic acid, its derivatives or homologues

Sulphuretted polymerizates of acrylic acid, its derivatives or homologues, alone or in admixture, are manufactured by subjecting the polymerized acrylic compound to the action of sulphur or combinations splitting off sulphur in the presence of superficially active substances or catalysts, e.g. gas carbon. The gas carbon may be mixed with the polymerized acrylic compound together with the usual additions by passing through heated rollers, and a heat-pressure vulcanizing treatment may be applied.
