The present invention relates to a descending device comprising: a base member; a rope wheel, which is a member combined with the base member to be rotatable around a first rotary shaft, including a driving gear and a locking part wherein a rope is wound and locked; a deceleration wheel, which is a member combined with the base member to be rotatable around a second rotary shaft arranged at a distance away from the first rotary shaft, including a driven gear combined while being engaged with the driving gear, and a rotary plate combined with the driven gear to not be relatively rotatable; a concavely dented mounting part, formed on the outer circumferential surface of the rotary plate; a deceleration member, inserted into the mounting part, having a concave part concavely dented in one side surface thereof; and a deceleration cover for generating frictional force as the inner circumferential surface is in contact with the other side surface of the deceleration member. According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the use of the deceleration member material, and lower manufacturing costs of the descending device. In addition, the present invention has an effect of reducing the phenomenon that one end of the deceleration member is unevenly worn, and allowing the rope to lift at a constant speed which is not only uniform but also faster than a conventional method as the entire surface of the other side surface of the deceleration member is uniformly in contact with the inner circumferential surface of a lateral plate of the deceleration cover, thereby a frictional force is uniformly generated. |
