<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the degraded state of a light source. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting control system 100 includes a lighting fixture 103, a memory 108, and a processor 106. The lighting fixture 103 has a light source and a photosensor. The light source emits illumination light. The photosensor detects the optical intensity of the illumination light. The memory 108 can store therein the optical intensity of the illumination light detected by the photosensor. The processor 106 has a standard collection mode and a degradation determination mode. In the standard collection mode, a prescribed reference current is supplied to the light source; the optical intensity of the illumination light is detected by the photosensor; and the optical intensity detected by the photosensor is stored in the memory as a reference intensity. In the degradation determination mode, the reference current is supplied to the light source; and the optical intensity of the illumination light is detected by the photosensor; at which time if the optical intensity of the illumination light is lower than a threshold value calculated on the basis of the reference intensity, the light source is determined to have degraded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
