<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplex meter unit capable of independently selecting a direction of connection without depending on an elbow joint or a saddle ferrule. <P>SOLUTION: A duplex meter unit, in which a plurality of water meters can be mounted in parallel with one another in a meter box, has a branch line which has a straight pipe section parallel to a front wall on an upstream side of the meter box and a plurality of branch port parts arranged vertically from the straight pipe section toward the downstream side, and a plurality of detachable units arranged in parallel with one another of the water meters connected to the branch port parts with secondary side connection ports of an in-house lead-in tube on a rear wall on the downstream side of the meter box. The branch line has primary side connection ports which can be selectively connected only to three points in all, that is, two points of both ends of the straight pipe section and one point on a peripheral surface on the upstream side, or only the two points of both ends and an unconnected port thereof can be closed by a plug. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
