<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition for fiber-reinforced composite materials, giving a cured product excellent in toughness and solvent resistance, and to provide a prepreg using the composition, and a honeycomb sandwich panel using the prepreg. <P>SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition for fiber-reinforced composite materials includes: an epoxy resin A; a thermoplastic resin B, an adsorbing filler on which a thermoplastic resin C is adsorbed; and a curing agent; meeting greater than 0 but not greater than 0.8 in the coefficient of adsorption defined by (formula 1): the amount (pts.mass) of the thermoplastic resin C adsorbed to 100 pts.mass of the filler/the specific gravity of the thermoplastic resin C/the DBP oil absorption level (mL/100 g) of the filler. As to the composition, the morphology after cured is such that: at least the epoxy resin A forms a continuous phase and the filler adsorbed with the thermoplastic resin C is dispersed in at least the continuous phase. The prepreg is such as to be obtained by subjecting the composition as matrix resin to composite formation with reinforcing fibers. The honeycomb sandwich panel is obtained by laminating the prepreg and a honeycomb core with each other followed by curing the resultant laminate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
