The present invention relates to a negative electrode active material, a method for preparing the same and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same wherein the negative electrode active material contains reduced graphene oxide aerogel having a structure constituting a porous network in which reduced graphene oxide sheets are interconnected in a three-dimensional way, and a silicon coating layer positioned on a surface of the reduced graphene oxide sheets.
