The present invention provides a novel 5,6-dihydroergosterol glycoside derivative. The novel 5,6-dihydroergosterol glycoside derivative according to the present invention can be usefully used as an agent for preventing or treating dermatitis or as a cosmetic material for relieving atopy since the derivative, in preventing and treating dermatitis, inhibits generation of chemokine which increases according to inflammatory stimulation of the skin, and inhibits activity of transcription factors which control expression of various inflammatory mediators.
