Disclosed is a food waste treatment apparatus capable of preventing a backflow of sewage. According to the present invention, the food waste treatment apparatus simultaneously closes a part of a trap connected to the other end portion side of a cooling pipe and one end portion side of a guide pipe while a valve is lifted and rotated when water of a sewage pipe side flows backward toward one side of the trap. The backflowed water cannot be entered into the other side of the trap. Therefore, as the water of the sewage pipe side is prevented to be entered inside the food waste treatment apparatus, the food waste treatment apparatus can be prevented from being damaged by a backflow of the sewage.
