<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a wall to bodies into the state that the resistance of the wall to a horizontal force can be controlled, in a construction where the wall such as an earthquake-proof wall having a horizontal rigidity regulated structure is disposed in a structure plane of a frame consisting of columns and beams, for example. <P>SOLUTION: In the construction where a control wall 4 is connected to the bodies in the state that a horizontal force in an in-plane direction is not completely transmitted between each body and the control wall 4, a reaction member 5 which serves as an element resistant to the horizontal force and has a higher deforming capability than the control wall 4 when subjected to the horizontal force on the control wall 4 in its in-plane direction is: fixed at part of one side in a direction perpendicular to the direction of bearing the horizontal force, to the control wall 4; fixed at part of the other side to any body encircling the control wall 4; and separated at its intermediate part from the control wall 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
