<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to give an alarm even in case of an abnormal tape speed due to the slipping of a video tape. CONSTITUTION:Tape speed detection signal TSP of a frequency in proportion to a tape speed is extracted by timer woller 9 turning following a tape run and the frequency of this tape speed detection signal is compared 11 with a reference frequency equivalent to a normal tape speed to make decision 12, so that if the frequency error FS would exceed an allowable error, alarm 14 indicating an abnormal tape speed will be given.</p> |
