A platform-based container and a bearing support thereof. The bearing support comprises a cross beam (1) used for being connected to a bottom frame (5) and side columns (2) disposed on two sides of the cross beam (1). Bottom ends of the side columns (2) are hingedly connected to the cross beam (1), and hinge shafts (3) of the side columns (2) and the cross beam (3) extend longitudinally. The bottom ends of the side columns (2) are provided with protruding portions (21) that protrude inwards in the transverse direction, and the top ends of the protruding portions (21) are higher than the cross beam (1) and are located on the inner sides of the hinge shafts (3). When goods are placed on the cross beam (1), the protruding portions (21) generate rotary torques rotating outwards around the hinge shafts (3) under the action of gravity of the goods, so that the upper ends of the side columns (2) generate the tendency to rotate towards the inner sides, and the goods can be tightly clamped inwards.
