<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance spring and manufacturing method of the balance spring that enable the balance spring to be fixed at an accurate position without tilting of the balance spring in a speed governor of a mechanical type timepiece, and attain a mechanical type timepiece high in reliability and high in stable clocking accuracy.SOLUTION: A balance spring comprises: a collet 3 that has a through-hole 3a for fitting with a rotating shaft body; a coil-shaped main spring unit 2 that is connected to the collet 3 and is winded around the collet 3 centering around the through-hole 3a; and a spring-holding stud 4 that is provided in an end of the main spring unit 2, in which the balance spring has a groove part 7 in one plane surface of the spring-holding stud. The balance spring is configured to have an adhesion agent provided in one part of one plane surface 4a having the groove part 7, and be adhered to other components.</p> |
