PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an exhaust cut valve 43 getting out of order when the exhaust cut valve 43 is switched into an open state or closed state according to an operation region of an engine 1, and the opening of the waist gate valve 47 is brought under feedback control so that actual boost pressure reaches target boost pressure in an open operation region in which the exhaust cut valve 43 is in the open state and in a closed operation region in which the exhaust cut valve 43 is in the closed state.SOLUTION: In a closed operation region and an open operation region, it is determined whether an abnormal state occurs in which a feedback quantity on a side where a wasit gate valve 47 is closed is equal to or larger than a predetermined quantity, actual boost pressure is lower than target boost pressure, and the deviation between the actual boost pressure and target boost pressure is equal to or larger than a predetermined value, and based upon determination results in both the operation regions, it is determined whether an exhaust cut valve 43 is normal or abnormal. |
