摘要 Described herein is a method and system for gimbaled mounting of satellite dishes. The gimbaled mount for satellite systems overcomes some of the most common negative events affecting satellite communications. The system is a cost effective solution that amortizes the cost of the additional equipment to well over the customary three to five years for satellite use and extends its working life expectancy to 20 years or more. Utilization of stainless steel rather than normal steel or lighter duty aluminum further extends the mounting systems longevity. The inclusion of an environmental feedback system for both snow and ice damage, wind damage, and earthquake damage increases the projected useful life of the mounting system.
