The present invention relates to an apparatus for a terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (T-DMB) emergency alert service having a wake-up function, which enables an emergency broadcasting receiver to receive emergency information even if the emergency broadcasting receiver is in use for other works, or in a state of being only connected to the power supply while being turned off, and can realize a transmission frame to satisfy a format standard of an emergency message in order to transmit the emergency message through a fast information data channel (FIDC). According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: an emergency issue apparatus for collecting information on emergency situation, and generating an emergency warning message to output the same; a digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) apparatus for mixing the emergency warning message and broadcasting information, and generating broadcasting information; a DMB base station for combining the broadcasting information with location information to generate a DMB signal, and outputting the same; and an emergency broadcasting receiver for receiving the DMB signal transmitted from the DMB base station, analyzing the received DMB signal to automatically convert the same into an emergency broadcasting service mode when a wake-up signal exists, extracting information on an area having an emergency issued, and outputting emergency warning sound and emergency information. |
