Provided are a device for supporting the design of reverse osmosis membrane equipment and a method of supporting the design of equipment, which make it possible to obtain easily the operating performances of equipment employing reverse osmosis membranes having different properties. The device for supporting the design of reverse osmosis membrane equipment (1) is provided with: an input condition setting unit (10) which accepts input conditions required to calculate the operating performance of reverse osmosis membrane equipment; a data processing unit (30) which creates at least one script file (530) on the basis of the input conditions that have been input into the input condition setting unit (10), and which is capable of collecting and displaying, on the basis of the script file (530), the results of the calculations of the operating performance based on the input conditions, obtained from simulators (A41, B42, C43) that are different at least for each property of the reverse osmosis membrane; and a display device (2) which displays as a list the operating performance calculation results from the data processing unit (30). |
