PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a predetermined functional layer is formed on a flexible substrate integrated with a support in advance, and after that, the flexible substrate can be easily separated from the support, and a display device can be simply obtained.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a display device includes the steps of: applying resin solution on a support and forming a flexible substrate on the support; forming a functional layer on the flexible substrate; and removing the support from the flexible substrate on which the functional layer is formed. The peel strength between the flexible substrate at a functional layer formation area where the functional layer is formed and the support is equal to or below 200 N/m and equal to or above 0.1 N/m. A peel prevention part is formed at a position surrounding the functional layer formation area, thus the peel prevention part and the flexible substrate in the functional layer formation area are separated from each other, and after that, the support is removed from the flexible substrate. |
