<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer structure that can efficiently guide light from a light source by properly designing the shape of a reflective face thereby to facilitate uniform luminescence of the pointer and contributing to the safety of vehicles or the like when running at night. <P>SOLUTION: A pointer structure 10 comprises a pointer 20, a light source 30 such as an LED, an optical guide 40 arranged in the light emitting direction of the light source 30, and a first reflective face 21 and a second reflective face 22 that reflect light transmitted by the optical guide 40 ahead of or behind the rotational axis X-X of the pointer 20. The positions of the first reflective face 21 and the second reflective face 22 differ on a line directed from the light source 30 to the surface of the pointer 20. Light reflected by the first reflective face 21 is reflected toward a first light emitter 25S, while light reflected by the second reflective face 22 is reflected toward a second light emitter 25T. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
