<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system that has a simple configuration for improving operating efficiency by eliminating the operation of an elevator lobby button when registering a call for an elevator from an elevator lobby, and inhibiting the generation of an unintended wasteful call for an elevator from an elevator lobby. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator system includes: a detection device 1b provided at an elevator lobby, and detecting a user in the elevator lobby; a registration part 1a for transmitting a request for registering a call for an elevator from the elevator lobby based on the detection result of the detection device 1b; an elevator lobby call registration control part 2a for registering a call for an elevator from the elevator lobby by receiving a request for registering a call for an elevator from the elevator lobby; and a notification device 1c for notifying the user of a state of the registration of a call for an elevator from the elevator lobby. The elevator lobby call registration part 1a transmits a request for registering a call for an elevator from the elevator lobby to the call registration control part 2a when the detection device 1b has detected a user in the elevator lobby continuously for a predetermined period of time.
