To more easily manufacture a side plate covering a side of a coil, and increase productivity of products by mechanizing an entire process from board supply to side plate collection after manufacturing the same; provided is an apparatus to manufacture a side plate for packaging a coil, comprising: a loading rack on which a board is loaded to manufacture a side plate; a cutting unit cutting the board to manufacture a side plate for packaging a coil; a collection unit wherein a side plate manufactured in the cutting unit and a scrap are separated and collected; and a transfer unit transferring the board from the loading rack to the cutting unit, or transferring the side plate and a circular scrap to the collection unit on the cutting unit.
