The present invention relates to a container and, more specifically, to a storage transport container maintaining a temperature inside a container at a predetermined temperature so as to maintain freshness of agrifood for a long period of time, and a method for maintaining a temperature of the storage transport container. To achieve the purpose, the present invention comprises: a storage transport container having a storage space of agrifood and a door which can be opened and closed; a cooling plate provided in an upper side inside the storage transport container, wherein a plurality of latent heat storage material packs are stored; a thermoelectric element penetrated by an upper portion of the storage transport container, wherein a lower surface comes in contact with an upper surface of the cooling plate to emit heat stored in the cooling plate to the outside; and an inner blower fan installed on a lower surface of the cooling plate to enable air of the storage transport container to be circulated. Phases of the latent heat storage material packs are changed in different temperatures.
