The present invention relates to a composite material for shielding radiation and a manufacturing method thereof, and more specifically, a composition of the composite material for shielding radiation including a resin and a metal oxide, and the composite material for shielding radiation manufactured thereby, and a manufacturing method thereof. The composite material for shielding radiation of the present invention is harmless to human body by including the resin and the metal oxide, can be easily applied for various purposes of radiation shielding which includes: clothes for shielding radiation; an apron for shielding radiation; a goggle for shielding radiation; building materials for shielding radiation; a medical instrument for shielding radiation by having a flexibility of the material. Furthermore, the composite material for shielding radiation has an excellent shielding effectiveness. |
