<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensor component capable of switching its operations with a simple structure, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a photosensor component includes a first step, a second step, and a third step. The first step prepares a photosensor intermediate component. The photosensor intermediate component includes a projecting unit, a light-receiving unit, an integrated circuit, a circuit sealing unit, a first lead frame, a second lead frame, and an external connecting unit. The integrated circuit processes a light-receiving signal from the light-receiving unit. The circuit sealing unit seals the circuit unit. The first lead frame includes a first protrusion part protruding to the outside of the circuit sealing unit. The second lead frame includes a second protrusion part protruding to the outside of the circuit sealing unit. The external connecting unit connects the first protrusion part and the second protrusion part. The projecting unit, the light-receiving unit, the first lead frame, and the second lead frame are connected to the integrated circuit. The second step determines whether to cut any part of a protrusion part composed of the first protrusion part, the second protrusion part, and the external connection unit. The third step cuts the protrusion part when the second step determines to cut it.</p> |
