<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of voltage equalization and to shorten a convergence time of an equalized voltage in a battery voltage equalizing device and method for equalizing voltages of a plurality of chargeable batteries connected in series to form a battery pack.SOLUTION: A battery voltage equalizing device includes: a correction value setting part 13 for setting, to an equalization target voltage equalizing voltages of batteries of a battery module 10, a first correction value corresponding to a voltage change caused by internal resistance of batteries generated by a DC current of charging or discharging for equalizing the voltages of the batteries and a second correction value equal to or smaller than an accuracy threshold defining predetermined accuracy of the equalization target voltage and larger than zero as a voltage change component caused by polarization; and a voltage equalization control part 12 which charges or discharges the battery, and further charges or discharges the batteries until the voltages of the batteries reach a voltage corrected for the first and second correction values from the equalization target voltage after the voltages of the batteries reach the equalization target voltage.</p> |
