PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus configured to reduce the number of temperature sensors for detecting temperature of an outer peripheral surface of a fixing member.SOLUTION: In a fixing apparatus 40, a heat source 41 for heating a fixing belt 47 includes a plurality of heaters 41a, 41b, and 41c displaced in an axial direction of the fixing belt 47 in a non-overlapping state. In the fixing apparatus 40, a plurality of thermopile sections 54 (54a-54h) of a temperature sensor unit 52 are arranged corresponding to a plurality of sections Qa-Qh to be heated by the plurality of heaters 41a and 41b, respectively, on an outer peripheral surface of the fixing belt 47. |
