PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layer thickness control member which improves linearity of a center region of a layer thickness control part in a rotation axial line direction of a developer carrier to facilitate making a layer thickness distribution a developer carried on the developer carrier, uniform in the rotation axial line direction.SOLUTION: A resin material is injected to a mold in which a gate part is disposed on one side off the center position of a layer thickness control part 36, via the gate part to integrally form the layer thickness control part 36 and a developer rectification part 35, whereby a surface facing a developing sleeve 70, of the layer thickness control part 36 is corrected to a linear shape along a rotation axial line. However, an entire sleeve holder frame 37 is bent toward the developing sleeve 70, so that an area adjacent to the layer thickness control part 36, of the developer rectification part 35 projects toward the developing sleeve 70 with a position of a trace of the gate part as a peak. |
