PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that controlling the vapor pressure of a damper chamber to inhibit moisture transmission from the damper chamber leads to inefficient operation. ! SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes: a common liquid chamber 31 which supplies a liquid to multiple individual liquid chambers 16 to which multiple nozzles 14 for discharging droplets lead; a damper chamber 34 having a deformable damper part 33 which forms a part of a wall surface of the common liquid chamber 31. The damper chamber 34 opens to the atmosphere through an atmosphere open passage 46. A moisture transmission member 45 which transmits moisture is disposed between the atmosphere open passage 46A and a liquid supply passage 61 to the common liquid chamber 31. !
