PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging grinder having a grip which is easily held.SOLUTION: A charging grinder 1 includes: a brushless motor 6 including a stator 11, a rotor 12, and a rotary shaft 26 extending in a fore and aft direction at the rotor 12; a spindle 7 which is rotated by the rotary shaft 26 and extends in a vertical direction; a switch 46 disposed at the rear side of the brushless motor 6; a controller 74 which is disposed at the rear side of the switch 46 and controls the brushless motor 6; a battery pack 5 disposed at the rear side of the controller 74; and a body housing 2 housing the brushless motor 6, the switch 46, and the controller 74. The body housing 2 includes: a cylinder part 9 (a first cylinder part) housing the brushless motor 6; and a square cylinder part 10 (a second cylinder part) housing the switch 46 and having a smaller diameter than the first cylinder part. |
