The present invention discloses a drive motor for an electric bicycle having a small and compact structure compared to an existing motor by reducing the volume of the appearance of the motor. The drive motor of the present invention includes: a rotor gear (120) installed in a shaft (300) and connected to a rotor (110); two or more first planetary gears (210) engaged with the rotor gear (120); second planetary gears (220) connected to the first planetary gears (210) ; a clutch bearing (240) installed in the shaft (300); and a housing gear (250) which is coupled to the clutch bearing (240) and inscribed and engaged in the first planetary gear (210) or the second planetary gear (220) and supports the second planetary gear (220) to be able to rotate. |
