Provided are an acoustic wave processing device, a method for processing signals, and a program such that when a region of interest is set in an ultrasonic diagnostic device which performs multi-line processing, a high-quality image of the region of interest can be obtained and a drop in frame rate at the region of interest can be avoided. The method comprises: a data processing step of selecting and superimposing two or more pieces of data from a plurality of pieces of first element data or a plurality of pieces of first reception data generated by subjecting the first element data to phasing addition; a region-of-interest setting step of setting a region of interest in an imaging area; and a processing condition-modifying step of modifying, when a region of interest has been set according to the region-of-interest setting step, a processing condition in the data processing step on the basis of information regarding the set region of interest. |
