PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which transmits a reference signal from an antenna port in a wireless network node.SOLUTION: A reference signal is transmitted in a code division multiplex (CDM) group. The CDM group is provided with at least two CDM subgroups, and the respective CDM subgroups are transmitted by different subcarriers. First, an orthogonal cover code is used to transmit the reference signal in a first CDM subgroup. The first CDM subgroup is provided with resource elements (RE) in first and next slots. Then, a replaced orthogonal cover code is used to transmit the reference signal in a second CDM subgroup. The second CDM subgroup is provided with RE in first and second time slots. Replacement of the orthogonal cover code is selected so that by applying the orthogonal cover code only to the RE in the CDM group included in the first time slot, decoding of the reference signal in a frequency domain becomes possible. |
