<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flow meter which exhibits excellent measurement accuracy on the basis of the high frequency of measurement by efficiently and stably transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic beam of a high frequency.SOLUTION: There is provided an ultrasonic flow meter 100 in which a ceramic disk-like piezoelectric element 141 is interposed and laminated between a glass epoxy resin acoustic impedance matching layer 142 and a silicone rubber vibration absorption layer 143, a thickness d1 of the acoustic impedance matching layer 142 is set to be thinner than a thickness d2 of the disk-like piezoelectric member 141, a thickness d3 of the vibration absorption layer 143 is set to be thicker than the thickness d2 of the disk-like piezoelectric element 141, and consequently the acoustic impedance matching layer 142 smoothly propagates an ultrasonic beam generated from the disk-like piezoelectric element 141 toward a duct end sealing region 111a of a straight circular pipe 110.</p> |
