PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a worker who hits a spindle at its front end unawares. SOLUTION: This shaft cover is provided for covering the end of the spindle 1 protruded to the outside. It comprises a predetermined-shape body member 10a, and a fitting part 10b having a portion opened to the body member 10a and fitted to the end of the spindle 1 for engaging the body member 10a with the end of the spindle 1. The body member 10a is formed of an elastic raw material. This absorbs impact given from the outside and protects a worker who hits a shaft at its front end unawares. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
