PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiallergenic composition processable particularly to a nonwoven fabric, a fiber or a fiber product and to provide a nonwoven fabric, a fiber or a fiber product having antiallergenic properties. SOLUTION: The antiallergenic composition contains at least one kind of water-soluble polymers having a carboxy group and/or a hydroxy group and a salt of aluminum and/or zirconium. The composition can reduce the allergenicity of allergens such as mites and pollens, and impart an allergenicity-reducing function to a nonwoven fabric, a fiber or a fiber product such as a carpet, a tatami mat, bedclothes, a curtain, clothes, a stuffed toy, a mask, a filter material, a wet wiper for cleaning, and a dust bag of an electric vacuum cleaner.
