PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of bubbles by easing the pressure of processing liquid hastily sent in a processing trough, and to realize stable electric discharge machining. SOLUTION: The electric discharge machining device 1 comprises the processing trough 8 immersing workpiece W in the processing liquid to process that, a reservoir tank 10 collecting and storing the processing liquid in the processing trough 8, and a hastily sending tank 20 storing the processing liquid pumped up from the reservoir tank 10 and hastily sending the stored processing liquid to the processing trough 8. The processing trough 8 is provided with obstructing plates 8f, 34a, 34b, and an elastic member 40 so as to collide with the processing liquid hastily sent from the hastily sending tank 20.
